Welcome to the Krewe de Roux
The Krewe de Roux was founded in 2002, and continues to bring the spirit and tradition of Mardi Gras to the city of Dallas. For years the Krewe has held the Boudin Ball, a black tie celebration combining live music, dancing, revelry and the official presentation of the Royal Court. We also participate in the Greenville Avenue St. Patrick's Day Parade, host a massive Cochon du Lait (Cajun for pig roast), an annual Crawfish Boil and more social gatherings. It's all a continuation of the joie de vivre associated with South Louisiana.
But it's not all about fun - we also have a serious reason to do what we do. Since 2000, the Krewe has raised over $65,000 for the North Texas Food Bank and other local charities.
The main fund-raiser is our Boudin Ball. The 18th Annual Boudin Ball will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the amazing new Dallas event space The Quixotic World in Deep Ellum! Tickets include open bar, light hors d'oeuvres and live dance band.
Stay tuned to this website or our Facebook page for more details as they become available. 2020 promises to be the best Ball yet!
